Thiru Alli Keni Divyadesam - Triplicane Sree Parthasarathy Temple Where Lord Krishna Blessing with His Whole Family
Devotees can worship
the presiding deities of Sree Raman of Ayodhya, Aranganathar of Sreerangam,
Varadharajar of Kanchipuram, Narasimhar of Singavelkundram ‐ Ahobilam and Krishna
of Mathura. This is the one and only Divyadesams where He blesses in His 3 postures
of Kidantha, Iruntha And Nadandha Thirukkolams. Besides each of the three kinds of
yogas Yogam, Bhogam and Veeram can also be seen worshipped. Another uniqueness
is devotees can worship the separate shrines of Peyalvar and Nammalvar inside and a
shrine for Thirumazhisai Azhwar outside. Idols of Alavandar, Sree Ramanujar, Manavala
Mamunigal, Vedhantha Desikar and Thirukachi Nambigal can also be worshipped.
THE GLORIOUS TEMPLE TANK – Once the temple tank was filled with the flower creeper
and hence the name Thiru Alli Keni. Thiru means Glorious, Alli means flower Creeper
and Keni means the Tank. Temple is also worshipped as Brindaranyam
(Thulasivanam) as once this place was with full of Thulasi ( Brinda ). It’s a surprise for
everyone to notice that fishes cannot exists in this tank which is very unusual. The
Legend says that Once Muthkala Muni, son of Kanvarishi underwent a sincere penance
on the banks of this tank. During his penance, he was disturbed by a big noise due to
the fishes. Sage then requested the fishes to leave from the tank. Fishes obeyed his
wish and vanished from there. Even now we cannot see fishes in the tank. The temple
tank Kairavini which consists of 5 Ttheerthams namely Indira Theertaham in northern
side where horses can be gifted, Soma Theertham in southern side where milk, curd,
butter and white colored clothes can be gifted, Meena Theertham in south west side
where pearls and honey can be gifted, Agni Theertham in north west side where goats can be gifted and finally Vishnu Theertham, the most Holy Theertham among the
five Pushkarinis. By taking a holy bath in all these theerthams, devotees can get
a Disease Free and Worries Free Life.
The Uniqueness of Triplicane Parthasarathy Temple – This is the One and Only
temple where Lord Krishna can be worshipped with his entire family with each member
in a specific position as per the legend. To His Right Side is Rukmini, while to His Left
Side is his Younger Brother Satyaki. Elder Brother Balaramar is seen to the right of
Rukmini facing North. Son Pradyumnan and Grandson Aniruddhan are in the North of
the Main Sanctum facing South. Besides Triplicane is the Only Divya Desam
